Subash ghai's Yuvvraaj - Audio released

Subash Ghai's new musical venture, Yuvvraaj's Audio has been released. It is already a hit among the millions of A R Rahman fans.

It is a nice collection of 9 songs which smells fresh music, and differentiates itself from the flooding Punjabi, rock style music rocking the Bollywood recently.

Subash Ghai's words from the CD Cover:

"I've always found it a challenging task to transform a dramatic script into a spellbinding musical, though I've done this before with films like Karz, Meri Jung, Khalnayak and Taal. When I came across an interesting story of three brothers driven by sibling rivalry and a lady cellist who plays the catalyst in bringing, I immediately called up AR Rahman...

Now that most of the popular Hindi film songs are only about disco and Punjabi folk music, does it make sense to make a musical like Yuvvraaj? I asked Rahman.

Rahman snapped back. "Why not? If you get out of your comfort zone... go for experiments and innovations... new music will happen!"

And it has happened!

Two maestros Rahman and Gulzar saab, have spent endless days and nights with me to create this album, an entertaining musical which blends the discord of the three brothers with the heavenly sound of family togetherness. The story takes place in two of the most beautiful European countries - Prague and Austria - that resound with nothing but music.

Imagine a film where:
Salman is a dreamy singer...
Katrina is a leading musician...
Zayed grooves to a chaotic disco sound...
Anil Kapoor enjoys only classical music...

Imagind the symphony of sounds created by all these characters. Now imagine my struggle to match my visuals to Rahman's mesmerizing sound and Gulzar saab's magical lyrics...

This is - Yuvvraaj.
Hope you enjoy it.

Subhash Ghai"
